On this tax day in the US. Let me just remind all you gay couples out there or those wanting a relationship like ours that when you get to be our age- there aint no survivor benefits for all that social security your paying into. We get no exception just because Jack and I are cute and funny. We worry about it every day.
Please push not just for couples benefits but for the more than 1000 privileges and benefits that come only to married couples in this country. Enough soapbox. I need to go to the post office.
